Okay so in my last post, many of you stated that you had no idea how people were associating with you and you definately didn't know how to associate with them.  So here we go.

If you like the blog... hit the subscribe button.  If you want to comment, then type in your comment and submit it.  But you want to associate with that person.

  1. On the right in the profile column click the "More about me..." link.
  2. Once in, simply look just above the persons photo and select... Add as Associate.
  3. Once in Associate screen, you can add to an established Group or create a new one.

Best of luck and remember, I love networking, don't forget to associate with me.

Plan for greatness in 2008.

You're right about how to do it, but maybe add when......just because you read one good post, and that person commented on yours once or twice....think about do you really feel like you could recommend this person to a client?   Why not read them for awhile......then add them if you feel they would add to your reputation, not detract from it :) :)  that is just my opinion .......

I agree with that.  Kathy is right guys.  Before I add persons to my associate list, I read a few of their blogs.  Be sure you like this person.

Having a pool of associates with whom you know you can call on and they will represent themselves and you well is very important.  I want to deal with those who not only talk the talk but walk the walk when it comes to customer care.  Great post.  Thankyou.

Hey Vangie, associating is great; however, it takes me awhile getting to know someone before I do that. If their posts are interesting and I have a two-way, ongoing relationship, then I can get to know them better.  I'm kinda on the same page as Sally. Good, thoughtful post.
