So back for Christmas, I gave this tech tip....

For review....

Just a quick tip for you phone savvy Realtors.

Ready...

Scan or E-fax your listing disclosures, plats and pertinent docs to yourself.  Then save to your personal computer under the property address name and ready for this....

Email them to yourself as a combination of all docs or separate packages and email them to yourself.  Once you recieved the email on your phone.

SAVE IT.

Then when agents call for the docs, you can email the docs on the spot and appear to others as an ultra-organized agent.

Hope this helps.

Well let me tell you a quick story..

Tuesday pass, Christmas Day, I had an agent call me around 12:00pm and ask me for the disclosure packages for two properties within the same neighborhood.  He said his buyer was in for the day and wanted to write an offer that evening before boarding his plane out.

Well he wrote on both and turns out this guy is a multi-millionaire.  My sellers were impressed that while driving down the road, I actually got the disclosures out.  How so, I cc'd them on the email and even they had no idea the capabilities of my annoying Blackberry.   I actually received new referrals from both last night and this morning. 2 new listings and one seller whose looking to move up.

2008 is going to be another great year.  Use the technology available to you to make you appear to be available all the time.

Vangie, EXCELLENT EXAMPLE of how technology CAN AND DOES make us work smarter, rather than harder, and how it DOES make a lasting impression on our clients. Great job! Keep up the great work in 08!

Thanks for sharing the story of your own personal success on this.  It lends so much more credibility to a suggestion! (Will have to remember this myself!)

Our MLS allows us to upload .pdf attachments for this purpose.  It's always great to have these documents on hand though!

You gotta love a multi millionairre in town to spread some spend some money... I have a Fujitsu scan snap scanner. I scan all the docs and store them online with my RE/MAX website. I then add the link to the MLS so that an agent can pull them when they want... it sure beats having to try to get it out on a Saturday... But your idea is great too
