Children from Chernobyl region of Belarus. Letter to the host families. Way to help.

I would love to host children myself when we will have kids. I think it is a great opportunity for children to learn more about other cultures, learn different language and understand that not everyone in the worlds as lucky as they are. I do not know any child from Belarus who says something like "I do not eat tomatoes...". I hope my children will have chance to live in  different countries while they are growing up. I also hope they will appreciate what they have and share it with less lucky people.

Thank you Ryan,If you want to help I have an idea. There is a place in a little Belorussian town where children from 3 to 7 years old stay 3-6months. They have been taking from alcoholic parents and government not sure what to do with them Some of them go back to their parent, some of them go to orphanage house. They have a very poor place to stay. There no toys, books. I talk to women that works there. They would appreciate any art supplies ( pencils, scissors, paper, fabric, markers, wrapping paper) or some toys. If your office can have a box for a couple of weeks where people will collect such an items that would be great. Also, $5 from each collector would be hardly appreciated. Because shipping is very expensive. I will be back to Tacoma on Monday, let me know how can I assist in such a matter.
