I have to thank Chris Griffith for 'gently' prodding me into writing this post.....
Here are MY Top 5 Reasons to Move to Palm Beach Gardens:
Golf! To begin with you have PGA NATIONAL (where I currently live), Mirasol and BallenIsles just to name a few of the private clubs. And with fantastic public courses such as the one at Abacoa and the Jupiter Dunes course right on the Atlantic, there is something for everybody.
Shopping:All you shopaholics have found a new home........ The 1.4 million square foot Gardens Mall is at the center of the city - full of luxury stores, it is one of the largest malls in the country. The newly completed Downtown at the Gardens is a perfect destination if you'd rather be outside. Then there's Worth Avenue - just a short drive south, it is generally considered to be the Rodeo Drive of the South.
Dining: My favorite will always be Spoto'son PGA Boulevard. With the number of restaurants in this town I'm starting to wonder if anyone uses their kitchens anymore... You could dine out morning, noon and night for quite some time without going back to the same place twice.
The Beach: Palm Beach Gardens doesn't actually go all the way to the Atlantic, but it's neighbor -Juno Beach - is right there. Surfing, boating, walking on the Juno Pier- 12 months a year. As I'm writing this on 1/5/2007 it's about 75 degrees outside- pretty hard to handle!
Location, location, location: The city is about 20 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport and the 2 main roads in Florida- the Florida Turnpike and I-95 - go right through the middle of town making cities like Orlando and Miami just a short trip.
Then, of course, I'M here - but we'll just consider that to be a bonus! LOL

PBG is one of the nicest areas in Palm Beach County. When I lived in South Florida, I was an account Exec for Bankrate.com who is headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens.
Marc... I have a secret for you on playing those golf courses. I see that you already found it though. Talk about ruining a surprise. Start hitting up the local courses... :)
What a nice area is Palm Beach Gardens. Currently, I live in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. I have been visiting off and on because of work, which got me more and more interested. I like the nice mix of condominiums and single-family homes, more to choose from. Very nice.
Please let me know if you would like any information about the Homes in the area - and let me know when you'll be dropping in, I'll be happy to show you around.
