There Is No Plan to Get the U. S. Out of Debt

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with TheHousingGuru.com

Let’s be realistic, regardless of the political party in power, there is no plan to get the U. S. out of debt. Neither party has the guts nor the intention to significantly reduce the deficit, and as the deficit increases the debt burden on both taxpayers and the economy grows to unmanageable proportions.

Sure, both political parties talk of reducing the debt; both parties say they have a plan; but an honest evaluation quickly shows that the promises are hollow, meaningless and nothing more than political rhetoric intended to pacify a gullible electorate. And regardless of how vehemently politicians proclaim that we must restore our nation to fiscal responsibility, their actions demonstrate that their intentions are quite different.

John, why can't people see the truth.  The current crop of politicians around the world are throwing money around at a fast pace and it isn't working.  Our economy needs a fundamental change and much less government spending.  We are just circling the drain right now.

Just as the bank forecloses on the borrower who can't repay, China will soon foreclose on the debt and turn the spigot off..

Then you'll see some action.

The corruption is now so entrenched, not even an election can turn things around.

The current crop of politicians are politicians and all they want is to be re-elected. They figure they will be dead or so rich by the time the economy fails it won't matter to them.

Hence the need for inflation!  As I described in my Free Enterprise post this week.  Uncontrolled inflation, however, can kill a society quicker than anything!

Exactly. Perhaps many aren't ready to face the truth.

Lenn - I agree. And the attitudes of those in DC is unlikely to change until we hit disaster.

Than - Sad, but all too true.

Jay - It appears that the political class has us on course for destruction.

The mainstream media is a propaganda machine for the Democrat/Socialist party. At least if a Republican is elected President, the majority of Americans who get their "spun" information from them, will learn the (spun) truth about the critical financial mess our economy is in. A Republican administration would be held accountable for their actions by the propaganda media, opposite of the current situation.

As I see it, since to politico's have there own pension plan, and their own medical plan they really have no significant need to care about the debt. They won't suffer, just us, the voters and the workers that carry the country on our bent backs.

It will take radical changes in Washington and rioting and most likely a ton of bloodshed before America gets out from under its debt.  Nobody has the guts in Washington to turn it around so the future is going to be bleak once the whole thing crashes and burns.  I'm scared of the America that my kids will inherit.  Both parties are guilty.

William - As long as we ignore it, the bullet grows larger.

Jon - And sadly, most of the "folks" will miss the message either way.

Dale - An the burden grows ever larger.

Rob - I agree.

John,

Debt is a great political manipulator - it gives even more power to those in office. :)
