Hi Fran: Yes, a great home, and a terrific price. Start packing, Fran. Texas is just like California, except no ocean, and our tallest "redwoods" might only be about twenty feet high. Oh, not very many mountains, either.

Some years ago, in 1999, I drove from Fort Worth to Portland to visit a friend. I drove I-10 into Los Angeles, then took Highway 5 up to Portland. I saw some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. The Mount Shasta National Forest was absolutely breathtaking. And that cute little single track train that weaved in and out, up and down, was so cool.

I even stopped in Rogue River... right on the... Rogue River, what else ? I saw a little sign for "Karen's Diner" so I stopped for a nice Oregon pancake breakfast, and met Karen, the owner. Then I went outside and sat on a bench by the river for about thirty minutes. How incredibly peaceful. Fran, thanks for your kind comments. And... we do have room for you here... by the way. :)
