Things To Do in Hudson WI: Willow River State Park
Willow River State Park is only 5 miles NE of Hudson on County Road A. With nearly 3,000 acres of beautiful scenery and a Nature Center, Willow River State Park offers year-round activities for people of all ages!
Summer is just around the corner and while it's oh so easy to stay inside all-day and Facebook, Pin, Tweet, and text, maybe as some folks I know of a distinguished age so often say, "Get outside & get some fresh air!" These same people may say things such as "When I was a kid we didn't have (insert any technological advancement since the telephone), we were active, creative, & inventive!"
If we're being honest, most of us can admit we don't take advantage of our beautiful city, state parks, and outdoor recreational options as we should. So maybe this summer, commit to taking yourself, friends, or family to do any of the following activities at Willow River State Park:
- Boat Launch
- Picnic area
- cross-country skiing
The Nature Center features animal and plant life exhibits throughout the year as well as interpretive programs hosted by park naturalists.
