This Harlem based Restaurant came about in 2010 but once you enter inside, Red Rooster brings you back in time to the 30's and 40's of New York City. Every where you look the Red Rooster produces such rich history, to the framed dollar bills located on the front shelves, to the traditional seasonings on their fried chicken and corn bread, which by the way is mouth watering!! :)
Even the bathroom displayed wonderful photos that depicted the era of time from the 30's and 40's. There used to be another Red Rooster location, with the name slightly different and the owners of this modern day restaurant decided to bring that style of cooking and decore back to Harlem New York.
Red Rooster left no stone un-turned, even the waiters and waitresses where dress to resemble the classy look of the 1930's and 40's.
And it's always a full house at the Red Rooster. A small fun fact about this Harlem restaurant is that President Obama loves coming here to eat when ever he's in town on business.
So if you have not visited the Red Rooster and you do live in NYC, you need to pay a visit to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed but you will leave full ;)
