The 1st of May ... Outdoor Showering Begins Today ... from Ocean City, New Jersey
Yes ... it's only the 30th of April, but I will be tied up most of tomorrow, and I wanted to get this out to everyone who enjoys the good weather. Even though it will probably be raining here in Ocean City (NJ) tomorrow. We'll see.

I've owned four different single family houses in Ocean City (NJ) from 1988 through 2012 (wow, that's 24 years). One was a 1920s 2BR cottage on St James (our first property in OC - a personal favorite), 118 Pinnacle Road (a 1940s 3BR two-story which we never spent a night - a rental property), and 114 Pinnacle Road (a 1930s 4BR cape cod on a larger lot) ... all three had one thing in common - no outside shower.
Now I always wanted an outside shower, actually built one with a friend for "118" but never took a shower there due to rentals. And we only built a great outside shower a couple of years ago when we had finished our major renovation at the same 114 Pinnacle Road (now a larger 3-story building).
So I will turn the outside water on tomorrow morning before work. I will go out and test the operation. Later that day after some exercise I will take my first outside shower of 2012. And I won't take another indoor shower until mid-October. Now that's the "island way" down here on our barrier island in South Jersey called Ocean City.
