Tonight is the night, Elementary Battle of the Books, Sumner Schools!!!

Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students. A battle is a game, like the College Bowl, in which student teams earn points by answering questions about the books on the reading list. School teams compete and then advance to the District competition.

What Is The Battle of the Books?
Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers.

What Is The “Battle?”
A typical “Battle” is a game, like the College Bowl, in which students’ teams earn points by answering questions about the books on the book list. School teams compete and then advance to the District competition.

District Final will be held Monday, April 30, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at Bonney Lake Elementary.
