Memorial Day has over the years been diminished to barbecues and the beginning of summer.  Well I'd like to take the month of May to remind and refresh all of us hot dog eaters that there is much more to Memorial day than a party and the beach season.  

This weekend we drove past the Veterans Memorial Park here in Ocala.  It made me think about all the men and women who have given their lives and I was so grateful for their sacrifice and that Ocala has this park in full view and in a prominent area for all to see and remember.
