I had my heart set on a bowl of cereal today. Got the milk out, grabbed a bowl and spoon, and got the cereal from the cabinet. This is all the cereal that was in the box, what a disappointment. I had to deal with some professionals that made me feel the same way.
I thought I was going to be getting more than I had received, and was disappointed.
Tom, That's a bummer when the box advertising doesn't match up with the contents! We've got one pink phlox in a row of a dozen white phlox, and while pretty, it just doesn't belong. We'll buy one that's correctly labeled this fall and swap them out, and somewhere else in our yard will get that pink phlox :)
Tom, Phlox is another type of perennial flower. A small bushy type with tons of little blooms. No pictures on my Crackberry or I'd post you a quick photo.

Good morning Tom. I have ran into those professionals too. Keeps life interesting doesn't it?
Good morning Tom. What a great analogy. Yes, sometimes the service of others slip and it is time to move on. It's always sad when that happens.

Great analogy to the frustration and disappointment from professionals not meeting expectations.
Tom~
I looked at the photo...I read your words...I shook my head...and said aloud, "I Know Just What You Mean!"
and thought...wow...he sure has a way with words/photos
Yes that can be disappointing. In my job, I am often the one who discoveries the short comings of the professional a homeowner had trusted.
. . .the worst thing is when you hear. . "The milk is Extra"
Breakfast bowl morning analogy life is sometimes like that we get less then we expect. Have a better day now that you opened the second box...
Good morning Tom. This is pretty funny. I too often feel this way. Kind of like an analogy for life. Great thought? Enjoy the day.
Good morning Tom -
You too huh? Some days things just don't start off the way we think they should... :)
Have a great one and make it count!
John
Tom, I am giggling, that is just perfect. I may now have to refer to them and the not enough Wheaties (raisin bran) in the bowl contractors : )
Interesting indeed Randy.
It is sad, but I guess it is necessary Debbie.
I may be in the minority here Bliz, what the heck is a phlox? :)
We are all human, I don't require perfection. At least make the effort though.
Thanks Wayne and Jean.
Maybe you just have a way with listening janeAnne. :)
Are you a "snitch"? Just kidding James, but realistically you are in the position of seeing all that was done incorrectly, and has caused a problem.
hahahaha
It better not be extra Fernando.
Thanks Diane, things did get better once I got past the short box.
I'm glad you could associate with the anaolgy Sheila. the day was enjoyable!
Good to hear from you John.
thank goodness a lot can happen between the start and finish of the day. :)
You go right ahead Donald, sometimes the Wheaties come up short.

Thanks Bliz.
I'm just a little smarter tonight.
