pink torch gingers on MauiHAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE ON ACTIVE RAIN

Still a Newbie:  I have only been here for 3 months but I have met a lot of great people and learned a lot.  This place far exceeds any expectations I never had.  I was steered here by Bobby Carroll, who must have suspected I was looking for something just like this.

Hopelessly addicted:I am SO addicted to this AR place, and blogging here, that I have completely ignored by "other" blog, which is something I need to make a resolution about.   But the good news is I have already met another Rainer face to face, and had a contact from a non member just the other day.  Somebody read my post about Del's Feed Store and sent me an email!  I can see there are great possibilities from spending my time here.

What I have done: I have been honored with a first place and second place in a couple of blogging contests I entered.  That was a real ego boost from out of nowhere, and it helps with some bonus points too.  Check out the Holiday Balance posts in the Positive Attitude group and the Dream Green Home posts in the Green Housing Panel group.

What next:So what's in store for the future?  I hope to keep it up for another year and contribute plenty of good posts to Localism.  I'm trying really hard to reach the 50,000 point mark and be invited to join the AR Bronze Hall of Fame.  I'm almost there!

I'd like to thank everyone who has commented or helped me along the way, and also those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this place what it is.  Here's a nice bunch of pink ginger flowers for all of you!  May 2008 be very productive and happy for everyone on board.

And You the same...My wife loves the photo of the flowers. I buy her Protea arrangements all the time here at the local Costco just so she can reminisce from our many visits to the Valley Isle!
