I was thinking of titling this under "WHY I LOVE THIS BUSINESS." Through all the holiday parties, meeting with family and friends, real estate and where the market was heading was the topic of the day. The public believes that properties are no longer selling - but the facts are quite different. Properly priced properties are still moving, savvy investors are picking up where the average investor is running for the hills, and total volume of resells in our area are still significantly higher than they were 6 or 7 years ago.
This is not the market to sit and wait, and I stressed to all those who were interested, that now was the time to act. If you need to sell, then do what is necessary to market that property correctly. If you are looking to own, then get out there and start looking - there's more value today than at anytime in recent memory.
And if you're looking to invest and thought you missed the last run up in the market, well this is the time you've been waiting for, a chance to position yourself for the next 5 years.
