2012 Ormond Beach Celtic Music Festival

The Ormond Beach Florida Celtic Music Festival is presented by the Ormond Beach Main Rockefeller Gardens parkStreet Merchants Association and is scheduled for Saturday May 19, 2012 from 10AM to 10PM and Sunday May 20, 2012 from 10 AM to 6 PM at Rockefeller Gardens Park. Rockefeller Gardens is a riverfront park at the southeast corner of the Granada Bridge in Ormond Beach Florida at 26 Riverside Dr. For information about the Park call 386-676-3216.

You can expect to experience Celtic performers on two stages, a jam tent, authentic Celtic food and gourmet foods from around the world, a beer & wine garden and highland games demonstrations all day Saturday (women's competition) at 2 locations. Enjoy continuous music all day each day, the kids zone and lots of craft and food vendors.

Friday night before the festival an Irish and Scotch whiskey tasting event will be hosted by Lulu’s Oceanside Grill at 30 S Atlantic Ave. in Ormond Beach from 5 PM to 6:30 PM, prior to the concert at the Performing Arts Center. Admission for the wine tasting event is $15 in advance or $20 at the door if there is space available.

There is also a concert the night before the Celtic Music Festival on Friday night, May 18th from 7 to 11 PM. The concert is at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center and will feature Celtic Music and Irish Dance Troupes. Visit the Jam Tent hosted by various performers every hour on Sunday beginning at 10 AM. Bring your instruments and join the fun. Different groups are on 3 stages throughout the weekend beginning at 10 AM.

Admission for the Ormond Beach Celtic Music Festival is $5 each day for adults for all day and includes the evening concert and under 12 are free.

Good Morning AL, The ormond Beach Celtic Music Festival sounds like a great event. I was think what Barbara was as it sounds like Boston for sure. I sure hope you get to enjoy some of these events as there is so much to do in your area i do not think i would ever be bored.
