Hagerstown MD Real Estate 2007 Year End Report

As we come to the end of the year the Hagerstown Real Estate market looked like this in 2007.

Currently there are still 929 active residential listings and 73 under contract with a Hagerstown Maryland address.

For all of 2007, 835 homes sold having an average sales price of $228K and average Days on the Market for the property of 151 days. The lowest sold property was for $2,000 and the highest at $817,640.

The # of sold units is down considerably from the past few years.

2006- 1136 Sold
2005- 1559 Sold
2004- 1343 Sold
2003- 1171 Sold

In addition the average price is also down some from the last couple years.

2006- $241,630
2005- $238,739
2004- $185,722
2003- $157,972
