Spring is my favorite times of the year...we are moving from white to Green, it's not too hot or too cold. The Mountains are high and the valley's are low...peaks are white and the golf courses are getting ready to open.

There is no place in the world like the Mount Washington Hotel...over 100 years old a classic grand hotel. The Golf course was a regular stop for Babe Ruth, Bobby Jones and Ben Hogan. I love this course and the great view.

Many of my friends have been to weddings here, the fourth of July fireworks celebration is world class...and dinner in the formal dinning room with a orchestra playing is just something you have to experience yourself.

A few items to note about the 6,300 foot Mt Washington are the Cog railway ( a train access to the peak left side of photo) and the weather towers on the peak. Winds have been recorded in excess of 250 miles per hour on the top of the highest peak in the Northeast.

The huge covered portico is just amazing - bloody Mary's on a Quiet Sunday morning rates high in my book.

When you are done hanging out and enjoying the beautiful scenery...there is always time for a hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The snowy peak, framed in valleys of green make spring a perfect time of the year for a walk in the woods.

Spring has sprung and the snow melt has begun... evidence is in as the flume gorge in Franconia Notch shows.

If you are looking to see and experience some wonderful sights take a trip up to the White Mountains of NH.

Steve, now that is a surprise.  I know that you love to ski, so I thought the Winter would have been your favorite time of the year.

Love the scenery especially that little water fall.  I also love spring for the good fishing!

George...truth be told I love every season for a different reason, the White Mountains offer a lot of recreation and I do something outdoors all year.
