In this wild world of real estate over the past nine years we have seen a hold lot of changes. Back in 2003, before the great (free money) run up we are in a normal market and doing what we have done in the real estate business. Remember cold-calling, door-knocking, and mailers by the ton. Then the money got real easy to qualify for, and we were at the start of the run up. Licensed real estate agents rolls started to swell, it seemed everybody was getting into the game. We were selling and listing home sometimes 4 or 5 a week, and all was good. Most could not see what was on the horizon. We went on our marry way, moving up to the bigger home, the sport car, pool and travel life was good. Then 2007 came along and POP went the balloon, December we sold (that is closed for all of the 2500+ agents our local MLS) 184 units, down 88% from Dec 2006. More to come.
