Things to do in Cary by the Cary Concierge…Herbfest

The 3rd Annual Herbfest at the Page Walker Arts and History Center will be hosted on May 5th, from 9 am to 3 pm.  There will be herb cooking demonstrations, booths selling a variety of herbs, crafts and garden products as well.  Each vendor will offer something related to herbs, whether it is cooking, gardening or planning your own herb garden in your window.  Kids activities will be going on, make sure they are there to see the Butterfly Lady release live butterflies!  Lunch will be available from some vendors. Spend your Saturday at the Page Walker Arts and History center for this great event.

What a great sounding event. I love fresh basil and it's just not hot and dry enough around here to grow it well... I used to in Colorado in a sunroom and so miss it now. Would love to watch those butterflies, too!
