Over the last 30 days or so, I really believe Satan has been standing on my head and taking my joy away. It has been really tough. I have been praying for the Lord to give me some relief and he did just that yesterday and today.
He sent me two different friends who have both ministered to my spirit over the last two days. The friend yesterday assured me that the Lord put us together as friends for a reason and he is praying fervently for me. Do you ever feel a kindred spirit with someone? Does the Lord speak to your spirit and say "he is one of mine". He did with this friend.
Today another friend shared with me a message he received from the Lord that was directed to me. I know it was from the Lord because the Lord was the only one who knew some of the things this friend repeated. This friend is also a kindred spirit.
This makes me weep realizing that the Lord does love me and care for me and comes to my rescue when I cry out to him.
Psalms 46:10 says "Be still and know that I am God".
Thank-you Lord for hearing my prayer and coming to my rescue. You are an awesome God!
