Biblically it is spoken that we should not worry about tomorrow but only concern ourselves with today.  It justifies that statement by talking about there being enough to digest for the present and tomorrow will take care of itself.

I notice when I worry about things they only seem to get worse.  But when I relax and leave them to handle themselves, after I have done all I can, they seem to take care of themselves.  What is that about?  How does it work that when we don not focus on the negative but only on the positive, we seem to attract positive things?

I want to take a moment of your precious time and welcome in the year of 2008.  At the time I am writing this blog post, the calendar has already moved forward.  When it is midnight in Los Angeles, where we live, it will already will have been 2008 in New York for 4 hours.  Now is the time to quit making resolutions and make life changing decisions.  Ones that do not only stay for the first couple months of the year.  Ones that keep with you for the rest of your days on this Earth.

Make yourself a promise.  If it you wanting to get a better body, more fit, leaner, more muscular, better outlook, more positive, to quit smoking, quit chewing tobacco, stop compulsive eating, rebound from depression, Cope with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, stop your Co-Dependency, or some other ailment that you have, 2008, is a perfect time.  But not just for 2008 but for the rest of your life.

Here is a Prized Gem, Eat This:  A Scared man will die a thousand deaths, a Brave man dies but once...  (I wish I could take credit for that quote, it has been my strength in many of my times of need)

You see you should not do it for anyone else on this planet.  Your driving force should be yourself.  The way I see it the first 50 years of life are pretty much free.  Statistically there are a smaller percentage of us humans deriving life threatening disease through abuse of ourselves that those of us over 50.

If you are a abuser of your body for those first 50 years, you might be paying harder or more than necessary for your second 50.  As long as you can read this, it is not too late.  But wait too long and your ability to rebound is more and more limited.  Make 2008 your year to survive, move forward, and respond to your small voice.

On behalf of Paris and I and Paris911 we wish you all the very best for 2008.

Connor with Honor
