Oswego is situated approximately 50 miles southwest of Chicago, Illinois and is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the state. As of the 2005 census, the village population was 23,089. Its population has nearly doubled since 2000. Downtown Oswego is undergoing a historic renovation and making some beautiful improvements to the classic small town area.
