GOLF at The Annual Kristensen Klassic
Celebrated on May 4, 2012
Every year, the GOLF at The Annual Kristensen Klassic day approaches with great excitement for all participants. The event, honoring the life of Navy Seal LCDR Erik S. Kristensen, raises funds for high school scholarships at Gonzaga College High School. Erik attended the school, founded in 1821, whose mission is “Forming Men for Others”. Students from Gonzaga, located in Washington, DC have become special leaders in many fields.
GOLF at The Annual Kristensen Klassic, played at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland each year, brings together people from all over the world. Check-in begins at 12:30 pm and the shotgun start is at 2:00 pm with the event drawing to a close at 10:00 pm.
All those who knew Erik Kristensen loved and honored him as a very special human being. The organizers stated,” The Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic is our way of inviting golfers, volunteers, and sponsors to join us in celebrating Erik’s life and in assisting the sons of active military personnel to afford a Gonzaga education. While golf is the order of the day, we want you to join us for a day of fun. So please sign up to join us at the next Klassic! Following our [success in previous years], The Klassic has expanded to two courses in order to accommodate at least 288 golfers.” Join in the 2012 event now by making a donation to the scholarship. The scholarship fund accepts donations all year long to the fund established at GOLF at The Annual Kristensen Klassic. You could make a difference in the lives of these young men.
