Peg, this looks even better than the separate pad my Vet used to carry. I'd check out about replacement rules. My vet got burned when his device got broken. You don't want to get stuck with a contract and no device. Paying to replace it was not cheap.
Janice, no worries, I don't even have the proper phone for this, but I thought it was a great device. Your poor vet, that sounds like a miserable experience...
Check the % charged ... some of these cool phone Apps carry higher fees than available elsewhere.
Maureen, I was wondering who, if anyone, had tried this gizmo, but you are right, sometimes the small print can catch you off guard!
Peg-They are always coming up with more and more gizmos. At a COST of course. Hope you are doing well.
Sharon, I haven't even looked at the cost, because I don't have a compatible phone. But I thought about buying a phone that would work, if it isn't that big a cost. It seems very convenient. I don't take CC right now, but I could...
Peg - After reading a Facebook discussion (did we read the same one?), I followed up with Intuit. They have a similar gizmo. Unfortunately, they haven't got back to me. Grrrr. I do have an iphone and would like to take credit cards. I'm so tired of chasing after cheques!
Sal Gal! Let me know what happens and how you like whichever product you go with!
Hi Peg! Nice post. I've worked with "Square" a similar product, but was none too pleased about their service. Thanks for drawing my attention to another option.
Hey Rachel, let me know what you think of it if you use it!
Peg, this looks cool but I am not switching to a smart phone until my Nokia will fall apart. My husband bought 4G last year, used it for month, than gave it to me, I tried but was not very happy either. And I didn't have time to learn this new device. I hate those letters on the screen plus the battery go low in 2-4 hrs and I charge mine ones a week. I use my phone for calls only and my laptop is for the rest. But it is great to know what's available. Thanks for sharing.
Anna, I was exactly like that, using my phone for calls only. I'm halfway to my husband now, who like yours, has a phone with all the bells and whistles. I don't usually use my phone for web search, but have occasionally. But I am soooo like you about the batteries! Man that drives me crazy when the battery starts to go, I have a charger in my car & on the counter now, but would rather charge it once a week. I think I'm up to twice a week now... :D
