Michael ...Congrats on the feature and the new ride ....my wife would love this one ...I want a Wrangler ...Aimee says the gas mileage will kill me ....I put about 25K a year on my Honda accord ....have a great day in Nashville!
Wow! Downright impressive. I'm still a little apprehensive about always finding a place to plug in when you need to. How does it perform on really long drives? I still drive a mini van that gets around 15 mpg, which is downright scandalous. We've got to get something better. But with two very active boys I need lots of room!
Michael, That is awesome and I am envious of that mileage. I drive may miles out here.
Check out this link, I think it is a cool idea. Still some hurtles to get over but pretty cool.

Michael, I was thinking about buying a Prius. I haven't done the research on the Volt so I will be curious to get your assessment but those numbers look great.
I am jealous, I so dislike pumping gas, but dislike paying for the gas even more!
Mike,
I was wonder who it was who bought that Volt last month. Good luck.
Rich
What is the top speed on one of those Volts? Let's race sometime!
Michael, I'm impressed by the performance. I would have been happy enough with the prius. How many miles can you get without plugging in for a recharge?
I have been driving the same PT cruiser, maybe it is time to trade in!
Very impressive. I've always thought those were best for city/suburban locations - not so much for rural areas like mine. Still pondering.
Your pedal to the metal won't mean a loan from the bank...good for you....enjoy your new ride and the super savings !
Michael - I'm not surprised at these numbers based on what I know. The question that is yet to be answered is how many time will it end up back at the deal in the next 3 years. After all, time is money.
I've never heard of a Volt. I guess I had better google that and check it out. Do they come in lime green? ;)
Seriously doing the math and with the money I save just in gas I could buy two Volts!
Thanks for your post. Many of us will be looking for new vehicles as the cost of gasoline rises.
Did the Prius have a good trade in value?
Michael - not trying to out do you, but I never knew until I read your post what a great car my 1996 Nissan Maxima was when it died at 208,000 miles. I replaced it in 2009 with a Hundai Sonata. Not bad - but I miss my Maxima.
Good luck with your new car!!!
Michael: That is pretty amazing. How about a picture of the car. And... how well do you fit inside it? Enough room. Just curious.
Eric: Too bad you couldn't take a trip where it was downhill both going there, and returning. LOL.
