What was truly amazing was the amount of details we could see on the moon including craters and mountains. Clouds passed by the moon making for numerous special images we all enjoyed.

Tahnk you for your comments and last night's moon was a very special sight. I feel very fortyuante to have been able to view it like I did.
Bob, I was pretty disappointed. We have had cloud cover and severe storms off and on for three days. And, I thought that that would be cool. It won't happen again until I am long gone from this earth.

Bob my friend, the Supermoon last night sure was outstanding for folks to enjoy siting their eyes upon. You did a mighty fine job of taking photo shoots of the Moon with your Nikon Coolpix Camera.

Bob, The moon was so beautiful yesterday night. I wish I had a telescope.
Here is a pic I took. It was very breezy so the picture is a bit blurry.

Darn it, I missed the Super moon, I had every intention of seeing it, but fell asleep too early in the evening. That will teach me for going on a long hike after just recovering from a bug...
Glad you got to see it Bob, and with the Spurs win, it sounds as if it was a celebratory Saturday at your house.
Bob - I didn't even know this was happening. However, I do remember the other night when I was walking my dog around 11 p.m. that the moon was extremely bright and the skies were lit up. Maybe it was that night? I remember thinking I should really get my camera because this is so exceptionally bright. I would have loved to see it through the scope. Must have been awesome!
