When selling your home in Charlotte NC, the wallpaper that you may have lovingly, painstakingly put up is NOT a feature. It's a FLAW.
I don't care how you describe it, "look at the custom/designer/top of the line wallpaper that perfectly complements the (also very specific) ceiling fan". NO.
In the language of home Buyers (the audience you're trying to reach and the ones who are scrutinizing and judging your home compared to their other options): Wallpaper=Detraction. Flaw. Negative. A Pain to Remove. Something they do NOT like about a home.
To buyers considering homes for sale in Charlotte NC, wallpaper is simply not a feature. It's a flaw.
I have NEVER had a buyer oohh and aahh over wallpaper. But I've had many buyers groan when they see it in a home they're considering.
If you've enjoyed and really love the wallpaper in your home, that's awesome. But BEFORE you put your home on the market, get rid of it.
Because when it's time to sell your Charlotte NC home...it's not about you, it's about the buyers and making the best presentation possible to that buyer audience.
Is wallpaper going to stop any buyer from making an offer on your Charlotte NC home for sale? Maybe not all on its own but it WILL affect how much they're willing to pay for your home. Cosmetic or not, flaws mean $ taken off.
