Its nice to see my Denver Nuggets in the NBA Playoffs. Its also nice to see its against the LA Lakers. While the Nuggets have never beaten the Lakers in the playoffs we are getting closer to seeing that change. in 2009 we went into game 6 and were it not for a few very questionable, and game changing calls, we might have easily seen a game 7.
The Lakers started out up 2-0 but both those games were at LA Staples Center. When the series shifted back here to Denver the Nuggets took the first home game (game 3) and made it once again into a series. if the Nuggets take game 4 then we are back to all square at 2-2 with each team winning their games at home.
Do I honestly think my Nuggets will win this series... sadly no but I think the reign of LA is nearing its end as well and with the youth we have here in Denver I can see us continuing to get better and see a deep run in the playoffs (like 09) becoming more a reality.
Regardless of the outcome I love the Playoffs as teams seem to bring their best and the games are more exciting.
