Things You COULD DO When Getting a Mortgage

To_do_list_2 Just as there are things to avoid doing during the mortgage process, there are also things to keep doing during the process.  Here's a quick list:

DO  continue making your mortgage or rent payments.
DO  stay current on all of your existing accounts.
DO  keep working at your current employer.
DO  keep your same insurance agency.
DO  continue living at your current residence.
DO  continue to use your credit like you normally would (as long as it's not abusive).
DO  call if you have any questions!

Again, these things often go without saying.. But I've seen clients loose loans before for these purposes.  Don't let yourself be one of them!

Don't forget to also review our list of things to avoid doing during the loan process as well!

If you have any questions about these tips please don't hesitate to ask!
