Cole Canyon Elementary is a 9 in California, in Affordable Murrieta

On California's school-ranking system, a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being tops, local Cole Canyon is a 9 as of 2012.  This is based on test scores and related information.  See www.greatschools.org.  We've had many clients contact us wanting to move to or stay in Copper Canyon because of Cole Canyon Elementary, and the related Thompson Middle School and Murrieta Valley High School.

Among many honors this year, at MVHS:

#1 out of 400 Robotics teams,

#2 out of 28 Riverside County mock trial teams,

#1 CIF for girls' water polo,

#1 Girls and Boys basketball teams in MVHS league play, with solid production in CIF play,

One of the top, name-recognition choir and chamber programs in the country,

#2 for the largest (6A) marching bands at the SCSBOA championship in SoCal in 12/2011 -- though MVHS's Crimson Cadets Marching Band is technically a smaller than 6A marching band,

and senior 2012 students have received and/or accepted offers at universities, among others: Johns Hopkins, Harvard, UC Berkeley, UCLA (2 making it through instrument and vocal auditions, respectively), Arizona State, USC, the Berklee School of Music, and NYU.
