I thought of sharing with you my experience of how little surprises made my day. I had an overload of work two weeks ago. It was a pretty stressful day dealing with difficult files and some unprofessional vendors. Then came Thursday, our National Day of Prayer, so we bicycled to the beach, prayed in the morning and to my surprise I received 14 “Thank You” letters in the mail from my high school students. It was like an answer to a prayer.
The letters made me smile! Here’s the letter from of one of my students:
I taught these students career classes for 2 months. Teaching those students is an opportunity for me to inculcate good values in them; and teaching them not just lessons from books but lessons of life.
Getting feedback such as this from one of my students is already a reward for me! It simply melts my heart and makes me smile!
