Ice skating has come to Marin! This Saturday and Sunday (January 5 & 6) the Fairfax Pavilion will become an ice-skating rink. Sponsored by the Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department, this two-day event promises to provide a good time to families living in Fairfax California and the surrounding areas. Don’t have ice-skates? No problem. In addition to hot cocoa and board games, skates will be available. So come on and give it a spin – it isn’t everyday we can go ice skating in Marin!
Date: January 5 & 6, 2008
Time: 2 – 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 on Sunday
Place: Fairfax Pavilion at 142 Bolinas Road

I Love to ice skate I figure skated for 4 years until I moved to Florida and at the time we had one crap rink in a bad neighborhood so I quit. 5 Years later we received a state of the art center where Olympic hopefuls train, glad we have it buts disappointed it wasnt there sooner. Everyone in Fairfax support your new ice rink! It's great exercise.

I am a huge skating fan! I started skating in the 50s in Philadelphia. We have several area rinks in Orlando. RDVSportsplex/Ice Den is my favorita local rink. Due to an injury, I'm off ice right now but perhaps I'll be back on the ice by summer!
I also have an awesome skating list that I email daily with news and updates about the sport. The list consists of worldwide fans, skaters, judges, and anyone wanting to receive updated informaiton about figure skating and skaters. We just share news about the sport, not gossip.
I enjoy meeting fans as I travel the world enjoying my passion for figure skating!
