Tony & Darcy~ There is no place else like Active Rain. It is so rewarding...learning, sharing, building relationships. It's made a difference in my business AND in my life!
Been here a little less than 1 year. Always enjoy the jokes and pictures. Some complain about those things getting points, but I need the humor and it is a fun and harmless outlet.
There is plenty of great information...the search is quite lacking, but maybe they will fix it one day.
Good evening Tony and Darcy.
The first thing I always look at, at your posts are those amazing photos.
I remember my broker prompting me to get involved with ActiveRain. I silently thought to myself, "Nobody has time to sit around writing and reading blogs." BUT apparently, they do. . .LOL
Tony & Darcy,
This is such a heartfelt story and worthy of being featured. I love hearing the history of ActiveRain. It's funny, because as I read your blog with interest, I could relate to how awkward you must have felt when you first began. Sometimes, I still feel that way, especially when I can't get to blogging like I used to.
I'm sure we all have trepidation's when we began, but to start at the ground level, like you did took courage. You persisted and it paid off. You're a GREAT blogger and you've been an inspiration to me.
What a great tribute to the ActiveRain members, Tony. I had a hard time getting going in it and felt funny about what and how I was posting. Look at us now. I enjoy your posts and hope to for years to come.

Donna, I feel the same way!
Than, I would agree with your assesment of the search feature, other than that, it is a great place!
Joshua, Thank you! We do appreciate that!
Myrl, I believe that it was Jay Thompson who suggested that we start here. We had met him through a Point2 blogging site that no longer exists.
Patricia, Thank you! If it gets a feature that will be an honor, but like I said, I really have gained so much by being here!
Toni, If nothing else, this is a great training place on what and how to post industry specific and other blogs.
All have a great day!
Tony and Darcy
