4 Comments on KIDS WHO BULLY OTHER KIDS NEED COMMEPUPPANCE part 5
Thank you for your impassioned thoughts on bullying. I find it encouraging that the subject is currently being talked about, but horrifying that it occurs so frequently. Personally I am at a loss for why this activity goes unchecked so often by those placed in charge.
When my older son was still in HS, a smaller boy was getting beaten up by a bully. The teachers were no where to be found. My son (who was always strong and large for his age) pulled the bully off and stopped the fight. For his efforts he was reprimanded. Although every child present told the teachers (when they went and got them) that my son had stopped the fight, they wanted my son disciplined due to their supposed "zero tolerance" for fighting policy. NO SIR-EEE! I was very proud of him then as I am know.
In the interest of full disclosre - we homeschool our younger son. :-)
Hello Kristen...I know your boy..He is called a hero and they are found all over the world in places where they are needed the most. The world, other peoples opinions and dark forces will do everything they can to discourage heroes...but they cannot stop the heart of a person who loves right...Your son case in point...Bravo, well done and homeschooling is the way to go until things change not just so much from bully's, but the system itself makes you stupider...BUT..that's another post. My deepest and highest best to you and yours...thank you Kristen...Your boy has a man's destiny in store for him
Thank you Richie. :-) Yes, we have so many reasons to homeschool, but as you said that is another post.
Kristen....two peas in a pod....you and I
