Happy New Year...A New Hampshire housing recovery in 2008...

Well maybe not a recovery but certainly a leveling off.

We’ve had an incredibly busy week here in Hampstead NH, both personally and professionally.

This past week alone we’ve written 3 purchase offers for buyer clients, had one home inspection and showed multiple properties to other customers. There are some awesome buys out there and the old saying ” he who hesitates loses” is so true.

I really can't remember ever being this busy in December. On New Years day we even showed a condo and then wrote an offer on it...I think 2008 is going to be a much better year for real estate than 2007 was.

It's simply beautiful in New Hampshire this time of year with plenty of white fluffy snow all over the place. There really is something magical about seeing fresh snow glittering in the sun.

Monika, I'm glad to hear the market is looking good for 2008. I think buyers are in a good position right now but no way to know for how long. Nice picture of the snow on a sunny day after our stormy December. i hope you make many sales to enable you to get yourself and Jay to Germany this year:)

Judy, I hope so too. Looking better for us as we were slow all of 2007.

Monika, you all are killing me with all the snow pictures! You will have to box me some up and send it to me. We have the cold, but no snow. It was 16 degrees at my house this morning. Brrr

I think the market is definitely turning around. I've had a busy Dec. also and I'm busy the rest of this week and all day on Saturday. Yipee!

Yipee is right Linda...I feel the change in the air.

Judy....That would be a cool gaol. A trip to Germany in..maybe 2009??? Wanna come along? We could rent an RV and have a blast!!

Jay...Let's simply just make it so!!!

Moni - I would love to go to Europe and RV. Do you think we could stretch a trip down to Italy for the Big Guy?

Beautiful scenery and snow capturing the New Hampshire beauty. Did I tell you I was actually born in RI and my dad was from Massachusetts? I really need to come to that side of the world and see New England at its finest. Closest I got was Vermont. :)

Judy...Why not... that would be awesome. We might need to take a month or 2 to do it. Get your passports ready.

Sally...I did not know that. It is pretty here during all four of our seasons But nothing compares to your paradise.

George...It will be good....Trust Me!!! My market is changing for sure...hopefully it will continue.

Ann...I think we might have to do a European RV road trip...maybe rent one there and travel all over. LOL but I wish I could float mine over...I love my RV.

Monika - Good for you! I've also had a great start to the New Year and plan to keep the momentum at a feverish pace.

Monika -- what a wonderful positive post. Happy New Year -- I have been busy here in the greater Nashua area as well -- Lots of activities. Sellers are ready to negotiate and buyers are serious about buying -- the stars are in perfect alignment -- we have warm weather too! I am cautiously optimistic.
