Things to do in Parker, Colorado: H2O'Brien Pool Opening 2012

H2O'Brien PoolMemorial Day weekend is than 3 weeks away!  For many, that means backyard bbqs and outdoor activities.  It also signifies the beginning of “Pool Season” for many subdivisions and neighborhoods in Parker and surrounding communities.  It also means that the town's outdoor pool at O'Brien park will be opening!

Saturday, May 26, 2011 is opening day for H2O'Brien Pool!  The park, located at 10795 Victorian Drive, Parker, CO 80138 will officially open at 10am.  Let the fun in the sun begin!  Grab your swimsuit, flip-flops and beach towel.  Don't forget to bring your sunglasses and sunscreen too. 


H2O'Brien Pool will be open daily 10am-6pm and Fridays from 10am-9pm. Bring your family and enjoy a full day of recreation.

Little Squirt Time
Do you have a little one under 48 inches?  Are you looking for some "quiet time" to enjoy the pool?  Monday - Friday from 9-10 am is "Little Squirt Time".  All little ones must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.  Please note: No minors TALLER 48 inches will be admitted during this time.

H2O'Brien PoolLap Swim
Adults make take advantage of lap lanes from 9-10am on Tuesdays and Thursday.  Open lap swim (open to all guests) will be available 9-10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Regular rates apply, or a Recreation membership card may be used during this hour.

Admission to the park is offered in the form of a daily pass, 10-visit pass or season pass.  Rates are available residents and non-residents.  Facility rentals and party packages are also available.


Weather
Check the weather line @ 303-805-3288 prior to planning your time at the pool.  It must be 60 degrees (Fahrenheit) by 12 noon the pool will close for the day.  Also, refunds will not be given if the weather turns inclement AFTER the pool opens.

Teral~ I like to hang out at the kiddie pool with my littlest grandbabys.  I just sit on the bottom of the pool and it's very relaxing!

Chris Ann~ I'm the opposite.  I love roller coasters and amusement rides, but I'm not a huge fan of the water park "rides".

Heather~ When I was a kid we had a town pool and it was huge, but no slides.  We also had a diving pool and a kiddie pool.  Nothing like this.  It's wonderful and it's affordable!

Kathleen~ Even Mother's Day snuck up on me!  H2O'Brien Park is the perfect place to cool off on hot summer days!
