Barbara-Jo, that would be a great nature walk but don't forget the insect repellent: water breeds bugs
Barbara Jo-looks like a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the scenery. Can you fish for the mullet?
I am ready to go for a walk there. . . I loved you post and if I were someone considering a move - I'd call you!
Looks like a great place to walk and enjoy. Such a beautiful place to call your home.
Your post made we want to get out and talk a walk and observe nature. Nice post and great photos...
Barbara- Jo -- That's a lovely area. I have been there a few times. You certainly had a lot of interesting things to see on that walk.
Barbara-Jo, Stunning photos! My goodness, what a wonderful place to live and enjoy all the beautiful surroundings.
Those iPhone photos are extremely well done. You do live in a great area with some wonderful photo opportunities for the wildlife. Thanks for sharing.
Barbara-Jo, We enjoy these walks with you also. Your area has so much to see and enjoy and your photos bring us right along with you!
Ed - I don't ever use insect repellent; don't like the chemicals on my body and am never bothered by bugs early in the morning. I don't know if they are asleep, but they are not evident.
Cindy - Mullet actually jump out of the water all the time; as for fishing, the easiest way to catch them is with a cast net; then you smoke them. We have done it in the past but since I have gone Vegan, Ron no longer bothers. Mullet are vegetarian, they love bread and veggies!
Thank you for that comment, Joy! I appreciate it!
Janis - I really love living so close to the water!!!
Thank you, Joan. That is how I recharge my batteries!
Barbara- you never know what you are going to encounter on a walk and I love that aspect!
Kathleen - it is indeed! I would never move away from here again!!!
Doug - yes, the new iPhone has an amazing camera!
Larry and Sheila - If you ever get down this way, let me know!!!
This type of activity cannot be understated...Everything goes full circle too because we all want to return to humbler beginnings
Gorgeous photos, Barbara-Jo. Thanks for sharing your wild LIFE with us!
Richie - thanks for commenting here! I always love hearing from you!
Suzanne - yes, it is REALLY a pretty wild life, but as I get older, it has tamed down a lot...............I used to feel a bit like a gypsy since I travelled so much.
