The acquisition will include The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, the golf courses, the clubhouses, the marinas and about 5,000 acres of undeveloped property. The trasaction expected to close this summer, subject to sustomary closing conditions. Metlife, which has a 50-year history of investing in real estate in Atlanta and the Southeast, is engaging Daniel Corporation, a Southeast development firm with offices in Birmingham and Atlanta, to oversee the day-to-day operations at Reynolds Plantation. The team at Daniel is looking forward to working with Rabun Neal and other staff to enchance Reynolds Plantation and position it for future generations. john Gunderson of Daniel Corporation will work in cooperation with MetLife's Atlanta Regional Office, headed up by Regional Director Tom Coakley.
