YouTube Thursdays. Today is a just a little reminder to practice taking video. Regardless, of what device you have...just shoot. 

iPhone, (or other phones with video capabilities), iPad, or VidYouTube Thursdays - 5/10/2012 eo Camera - all you need to do is hit the record button and just shoot. Soon, you'll have some videos for your blog posts and perhaps inspiration. 

What have you got to lose? Chances are, you encounter fun and interesting moments on a nearly daily basis. If you learn to hit the record button - and just shoot - you'll soon have some videos to post.

Chances are it won't be perfect at first, but that's okay. Practice makes perfect.

Craig's Classroom is also offering a Video Essentials for your Business course. The 10 module series is a great way to add video production to your marketing skill set. Working with Craig is already helping me learn more.

Join YouTube Thursdays and VBloggers for inspiration and support. And remember, practice makes perfect. These two short videos represent everyday moments - they provided the inspiration for two blog posts. Both videos are under :40. 

 

           The other morning I saw two deer nibbling on the grass in a nearby meadow. I hit the record button - Blog Post:  Oh Dear, deer in Camas.


           On a recent evening, I watched the Finches eating at a bird feeder in the back yard. I hit the record button - Blog Post:  Musical Chairs at the Finch Feeder.

Regardless of what you do, learn to practice taking video. Regardless of what device you have - just shoot. Soon, you too will have inspiration and video for your blog posts.

I know I need to be doing more video, this post reminds me on how easy it is to do.  Here is one that I did a few weeks back.  It was fun to do and it has really been helpful for my business.
