For quite some time, I have been inspired by quotes and have been known to put them in the signature portion of my emails. It's amazing how many comments I received from email recipients.
Here are some quotes that have moved me:
"Mediocrity is a place and it is bordered on the north by compromise, on the south by indecision, on the east by past thinking, and on the west by lack of vision." ~ John Mason.
The message: Let's not be mediocre. Excellence is the only option. Recently, I saw comedian Steve Harvey on the Tyra Banks Show, and he said that the only difference between ordinary and extraordinary is EXTRA. Come to think of it, he's so correct!
"Leap and the net will appear." ~ Julie Cameron.
This is one of my favorite quotes because it's all about faith. Sometimes, we just don't know how we are going to achieve a certain goal, but according to this quote, we should just Go For It!
"If you break your neck, if you have nothing to eat, if your house is on fire, then you got a problem. Everything else is inconvenience." ~ Robert Fulghum.
This is self-explanatory. But I will add something anyway. :-) As bad as everyone is saying that the national market is - it's not the worst thing that can happen.
and lastly...
"May all your troubles last as long as your New Year's resolutions." ~Joey Adams.
I usually don't make resolutions because I don't want to break them. :-)
