The Palos Verdes High School Lacrosse team posted a 13-4 victory over Palisades on Wednesday night at Redondo High to capture the program's first Northern Division title since back-to-back crowns in 2007 and 2008.

PV (20-2) advances to the L.A.-Orange County final against Corona del Mar on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mission Viejo High. PV will try to become the first South Bay team to win the L.A.-O.C. final.

My son Kevin played for the Palos Verdes High Lacrosse team 4 years ago and we grew to love the sport and actively follow the team.  Coincidentally, my husband Bruce was a graduate of Corona del Mar who PV will be playing in the finals, and both programs have the same mascot, the Sea Kings.

Details on Palos Verdes High's victory can be read at the Daily Breeze article Palos Verdes boys lacrosse team back on top
