Doesn't She Look Just Moo..velous...An Annapolis Mystery

The MD Department of Agriculture in Annapolis has the distinction of stone cow statues at it's entrance and exit. Nothing unusual there as there are statues at many government building around Annapolis.  However the unusual on these statues is that someone is dressing them for the holidays

These Bovine beauties are udderly charming and from Valentines Day to Christmas are adorned with finery for the season. No one knows who adorns them throughout the year and if it is someone at the MDA who is responsible no one is talking. So the mystery continues as it has for over 10 years.

This is Elsie. She is dressed for gardening and her co-hort Elmer (yes they have acquired names) is dressed as well but not quite as lavishly.

The MD Department of Agriculture is located on Truman Parkway in Annapolis just down the street from the Farmers Market.

So the next time you are in the area drive by and take a look. I am sure you, like me, will have a moo..ving experience.

Now I wonder who the mysterious decorator is?

That's a neat local tradition.  Would never thought that Annapolis would have a bovine statue that they like to adorn with seasonal attire.
