I have a bunch of posts in draft that I have almost ready to post and I had plans of doing some Localism posts with some longtail keywords that I want to get calls on but then this came along.
I just had to show this to you! This is worth you emailing this post to everyone you know! Get your tissues ready! I am warning you that this is so inspirational that you will cry and smile at the same time. If this does not move your heart then your heart needs to be examined!
Remember always and forever that you are capable of much more than you are doing right now. That you must follow your dreams! That you must stretch and reach for your stars. So many people have dreams that lie dormant within their souls. They have given up on them but the dream is still there waiting to break free. We all have dreams. But most of us are afraid to look at them, afraid to share them, afraid they will never come true and so they settle for mediocre lives of day to day routines saying they are completely satisfied. If you are living like this, dare to search deep, deeper than you have ever been in your soul. What is your big dream! I am living my dream but there is always another dream! You do not ever arrive! Life is about growth.
You are capable of Extraordinary things! You were not put on this earth just to be a sheep following the masses. You are more than you imagine yourself to be. You are the greatest miracle ever created and this is your time to take a stand and shine! Reach down and examine your soul, what inspires you? What have you always wanted to do since you were a small child and have not ever done because you are afraid, lack the confidence or bought into the words that you are not good enough to do it?
Life is worth living! You deserve to do what you have always wanted to do? Have you wanted to sing, or paint, or speak or write or become a leader? Well, watch this video and feel this video.
Here is a man who did not settle for a mediocre moment! He seized the moment. But look at the judges before and after. Look at their faces. Check out the responses of the audience, listen to Paul's story, really listen. Look inside yourself and find your 'Paul'. Tell your story of greatness! And please share this post and this video with your loved ones!

UPDATED: Some of you are asking if he went on to win it all and YES! he did.
Here is his award performance after he won, listen to what he has to say and how grateful he is after his performance. Listen to the crowds! And listen to what the judges say after his winning performance! He took Britain by storm!
Wow, blew me away, thank you for sharing. I was a little down today trying to pump my myself up by putting other down. But, this made me cry in my office.
Dave- I cry just thinking about this guy, the way he looks and who would ever know the talent that lay beneath and his dream! Thank you for viewing the video! It sure made my day today! Katerina
Matt- Thank you for your comment. Always, blessings and rewards! They are already here, most of us just can not see them as our minds are clouded with negatives. Make it a great day! Katerina
Katerina, I knew from your title that this was going to be interesting, but WOW!! Yes, tissues were needed! I'd wanted to send this You Tube to some people, but instead I'm forwarding them a link to your great inspirational post.
Yes, he won the finals! I just updated my post. If you go down to the bottom of the post under our signature block, you will see another video of his performance at the awards. Listen to what the judges say to him and feel that audience. He is a household name in Britain, this cell phone factory worker is now an Opera star and Britain's star! Katerina
Yes, he went on the win it all, read my update in the post and I added his performance after he won, it was also amazing, listen to what the judges say and what he says at the end. Katerina
Jeannette- Now, check out his final performance after he won the whole thing! I just updated my blog with it. WOW! The hair does stand up on your back! Katerina
Jason- I just watched his anchor performance after he won! I posted it below our signature! WOW! The sound of his voice reaches into your soul. Amazing! And what the judges say , Paul Potts is now a household word in Britain! Katerina
Marc- Check out his final performance, he wins the whole thing! It is so amazing, I cried again! We just forwarded this to our email database. What happens to this young man is nothing short or amazing! Thank you for sending it on! Katerina
James- Great, you go sell that house today! Not joking! Was that not just so amazing! I just updated the post with his final performance which I added to the bottom of my post, check it out! Katerina
Karen- You do not have to even like Opera to feel his voice and appreciate where he comes from and where he is going. I just updated my post with his final performance on the show and WOW! Check out the judges and the audience. He is one talked about name in Britain now! How cool is that! Katerina
Jason- You are welcome! I can watch this over and over; not only does his voice make goosebumps but his story is just so thrilling because he had NO self confidence. To see how he grew from his first audition to that winner performance, what a transformation! Katerina
After I saw this this morning - I spent 20 minutes finding out if he won. I found that winning performance on You Tube. WOW - and I dont even like Opera (ooops almost spelled Oprah) LOL!

OK, so I should wear waterproof mascara even when I'm blogging. WOW! I've seen this video before but it makes my eyes well up every single time. Thanks for sharing Katerina.
Bill- I had so many posts that were almost ready to post but when I came across this video I had to stop all that I was doing and post this man's gigantic and incredible story. Talk about living a dream! WOW, all of Britain knows his name and loves him! He had the voice to make it big in Opera! Katerina
This is truly a great story. When they interviewed him, he said that he still had not quit his job. He is waiting to see how it all works out, in case the fame is fleeting. He also wants to stay connected to the people he loves. What a story!
I saw this some time back (my daughter saw the original broadcast when she was in the Netherlands this past summer) and think it's just phenomenol. In particular, watching the change in the judges as they realize what's standing there in front of them. They ALL looked like they were on the verge of tears.
I don't even like opera, and he gives me chills. Got to get a copy of his CD.
Katerina, this is my all time favorite - I watch and listen to it almost as often as I watch and listen to Zippady Doo Dah! This fellow is beyond awesome.
That is inspirational...sometimes is is hard to feel confident in an unknown situation... you do have to believe in yourself Great story! Good for him!
I was wondering what had happened in the competition! What a wonderful voice--I hope he handles his success well and has a good manager. What an inspirational story. Thank you for sharing.
Katerina, thanks for sharing this. I hadn't seen or heard this story before. What an inspiration! One of my close friends and former mortgage lending partner is also an opera singer. He has sung with the Washington Opera and onstage with Placido Domingo. I'm going to forward this to him.
OK Katerina. You stopped my dead in my tracks with that one. What a way to begin the new year. I know I feel refreshed and ready to go this year. You keep up the inspiring posts and I know you'll have another amazing year - blessings to you!
Oh, my. That is about the best thing I've seen today. I've been a grumpy bear all day, and now I'm crying!! Thanks for posting this, I'm putting this on my blog right away. Thank you for sharing!
James, as soon as someone asked if he had won the whole thing, I went searching for the answer too! Since then, he is now traveling all over performing because he is such a high demand. Amazing! Even if you do not like Opera you got to know this is talent! Katerina
Tracey- Happy New Year! Isn't he just the most amazing story! I just love it. Now he is traveling around performing. What a talent! Send chills down my spine, goosebumps and tears, to cause such a stir of emotion is what a true voice should be able to do. Katerina
Sally- I just found out that he is being taken all over to perform, this cell phone factory worker with a dream, something he was born to do! And all that ever held him back was his lack of self confidence. It is so amazing! I am just so moved by people finding and using their talents to fulfill their dreams.
One of my dreams is to swim under water without fear. I am going to do that this year. I almost drowned when I was 2 so I have been afraid of putting my head under water. That is going to take all my guts to do but I know I want to overcome this fear. Even dreams like that are great to have. Katerina

Shawna- I totally agree, do not judge a book by its cover. Someone or many people said things to this man to make him no longer believe in himself and look at him now, he is traveling with his wonderful voice blessing lives. Katerina
Neal- He said he was afraid to quit his day job because he was not sure if this would last or not, well, now they are flying him everywhere and he is performing his fantastic talent living his dream he so richly deserves. Katerina
Hi Katerina...Yes this is a truly amazing story, about a little unknown singer who really has a great natural talent. I saw this unfold in the Fall and posted his interview on NBC on my Blog, when Paul went to New York to be interviewed on NBC's morning Show the day after he Won the talent competition! I understand he is on a world wide tour now and was very busy over the Christmas and New Year season.
Very Heart warming to see the little guy get recognised like this, The Judges were blown away with this performance in Britain...So You Think You Have Talent.
Don- The most inspirational story I have seen in a long time! I am so happy I was sent this video to watch. It is my passion to help others to do what this man did, shine against all odds, live his dream against all what others may say! Katerina
Thanks for bringing this post to our attention. Obviously a hit! Isn't it cool to surround yourself with the evidence that things CAN work out the way you envision them, instead of letting through all the evidence of why it is silly to dream big!!! And, thanks for sharing your vulnerable self about swimming-I know you'll master the challenge!!!
I was encouraged by your post. I have seen this young man on television and know he has the voice of an angel. Yes it does inspire you to really live your dreams. I am daily trying to reach higher goals. May you and yours be blessed an prosper in 2008.
Wayne- Thanks and yes, I totally agree, very amazing! What a wonderful moving story! Thanks for commenting. I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog! Katerina
Connie- I was told that now they are flying him around for performances. Someone commented that he just ordered his CD on line at Amazon, I am going to buy his CD too! Katerina
Gayle- Someone emailed me his video to watch and I was so inspired and had a very strong impression to write this post and post his video in the hopes that someone else would be touched, this is life changing stuff and I want people who have their dreams hidden deep inside and holding back from being all that they can be will awaken their dream! Katerina
Tricia- His CD is called One Chance. How appropriate was that title! This is by far the most inspiring story I have learned in a long time. You do not need to like Opera to appreciate this story! As you know now! Katerina
WOW!!! What a surprise indeed when he started out at the audition! I am glad that you posted a follow up. I was reading and wondering. This is fantastic. We all have it in us!
Brian- Isn't that cool! I love Opera and my mother sang Opera and took me to see Madam Butterfly and some other ones. I love this story because it shows that no matter who you are you can live your dream! Katerina
Chrissy- Thanks so much for your blessings! I am glad that you are inspired. I am keeping this post near me and when I have a down day I am going to turn his video on! That will do the trick! Katerina
Ginger- I got those chills and tears too! That was so amazing I had to post this story and hope that this will inspire someone somewhere to go for their dream! Katerina
Larry- I keep watching this video as I share it with family and friends and I still get the same thing, goosebumps and tears! So inspirational. Katerina
Fred- I was so glad those judges ate crow! The way the judged him like, yeah, right, you are going to sing opera? And then, they heard his voice! What talent. I am so happy for him that he is singing on a world tour. I am getting his CD so I can remember his story when I hear his voice sing. Katerina
Joeann- I meet so many people who tell me they have no dream, that they are content just living their life the way it is, most of the time that is a lie they are telling themselves because they do have a dream they never fulfilled but are too afraid to try. If you notice when I write about fear, not many people comment. It is a hard thing to accept and then to deal with. Like this man, he had no self confidence yet he knew he was born to sing Opera. What a story! I only hope that this post will reignite someone's dream here and that they will shine too! Katerina
Sharon- I am so glad to hear you say that! You must always reach higher! That is life! That is becoming all that you can be. Do not settle for mediocre! Katerina
Dawn- And when no one is around you can really bawl your eyes out! I know I did. I also cried when I showed it to my daughter and again when I played it for Nestor! Katerina
Gail- It must be your passion, that passion must fill your soul. I say, your WHY must make you laugh or make you cry! It must draw on emotion. And his was strong enough to do it in spite of his lack of self confidence! Katerina
I have seen this video before, and I cry each time. I watched the show when he was on Oprah, and his story truly is remarkable. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
Andrew- It was amazing and I am so glad you and your wife took the time to see this. Yes, My kids are all adults, young adults and then one 5 year old. This is a great one for your teenagers! Katerina
Fred- It is a featured post! My gold star is still there, I just checked! It got featured just a couple of hours after I posted it. Thanks for your concern though! Katerina
I actually cried when i saw this. Not sure why. I am so glad to see someone get the success they deserve. Perhaps I cried because I am 58 and doing Real Estate for 22 years and have not had the financial succes that many have had even with trying everthing i know.
What an extraordinarily video. It left me in tears...I'm a bit emotional. Great article with the thing that makes us all strive to be better and go with our passion.
What a great post! You are always so inspirational. I was feeling down today and this was just what I needed. I'm so glad to see him become successful..he certainly deserves it!!
Vanessa- Thanks and that is alright, hey, at least you figured it out! I love this story and these videos, living your dream is what it is all about! Katerina
Joseph, That was an amazing and honest comment you left! I cried because of mixed feelings. One, that he would be able to reach his dream, I watched his low self esteem hold him back and that innocent look of don't hurt me as he waited for the judges. To know that his own limiting beliefs could have kept him from sharing his talent with the world! It shows how powerful what we think of ourselves and how that holds us back. You shared some very insightful words in your comment. It may be that through the past 22 years there is something underlying that is holding you back from being all that you can be. It is me that holds me back, no one else. It is never too late to still live your dream, whatever it is.
Please watch this short movie: The Dream Movie . I am a coach as well as a full time agent and I work with agents. I help them to overcome their 'stuff' that keeps them from achieving all that they want to achieve. Katerina

Gena- Yes, Passion is everything. Without passion you are just going through the motions which is what most of the people in the world do anyways, with no purpose and given up on their dream. It is sad to me to see this, I just want to shake some life into them! Katerina
Cheryl- I am so glad that I could share this video with you to lift you up! Always be grateful for what you have an find your dream and go for it! Katerina
What an amazing story and video. Normally I am not a huge fan of reality t.v, but it is great to see some of the success stories that arise that might have been difficult for people to come to under other circumstances. Some of these shows allow more windows and doors of opportunity, which is fantastic.
This video reminded me of these ladies and their successful real estate careers. Last year LORE magazine's September/October issue had two articles on two women who had risen from humble means to become powerhouses in the real estate industry. One was Cristina Martinez and the other was Tara Nicholle-Nelson. I encourage you to read their stories which prove there is no such word as "can't".
I would be curious if anyone on AR has such a real estate success story to share.
Rebecca- I am sure there are stories in the rain such as those women's. I am going to read their stories now. I love this video because it really makes you see that everyone has a dream and everyone can fulfill that dream! Katerina
Patti- I love it too! Thank you for reading this post and commenting, I write a lot of inspirational posts so come back often to see what I am up to if it might be of interest to you. Katerina
Katerina, if you like videos that show that you can do anything you want, check this one out. I think you'll be blown away just as much as by our lovely Welsh opera guy.
