Thank you, Rob: Mom and I went and had a manicure and a pedicure today. Tomorrow we will go to church, lunch and then to Ella Smither to paint nails for the girls. It is going to be a fabulous weekend. ☺

Joni-What a beautiful sentiment and I'm not surprised since it comes from you. I have not had my mother with me for many years now but there are those around who mother to others. I've suggested as well.

A very sweet reminder. I wish I could be with my mom today, but she's far away in Hawaii. My boys treated me to breakfast in bed this morning, so I'm feeling the love. What a great idea to pass that feeling on. Happy Mothers Day to you!

Cheryl: I'll honor them on Father's day. I believe that God had a purpose for mother's and for fathers. We can't take the other's place. But we can do the best that we can do. Just like no one can take your mother's place once she is gone.... we can love up on another mother, which is the best that we can do.

Debbie: I have sadness about mother's day for reasons of my own. The best way for me to combat that sadness is to do something for someone else. Then I don't have time to feel sorry for myself.
