Home Staging: Maximizing What You Have - Before/After Photos

Home Stager with Morris County, NJ: Elite Staging and Redesign, LLC

Home Staging: Maximizing What You Already Have!

As a Morris County stager I sometimes add furniture by repurposing it from another room if it's too empty so buyers can visualize their furniture in your home. In some cases we declutter and remove excess furniture that is shrinking the space, blocking architectural features like windows, molding and add a few accessories which makes all the difference in how the room will show in person and look on MLS.

Last week I staged a condo that was already in great shape, but my client felt she needed some help on how to maximize her Morris County, Montville Condo and prepare it for the market.

The master bedroom only had a large King size bed and a few old folding tables for a makeshift office. My client knows where she’s moving and wanted to accomplish several goals: Prepare her home for the market, get great  MLS photos and start the redesign process for her next home, purchasing some new furniture and lighting she'll be taking with her when she moves.

I found her these inexpensive lamps, night tables, headboard and dresser that matched her style and worked in this contemporary condo. She loves them and will be taking them when she moves. I added a few pillows to the bedding she already had and the transformation was complete.

Her son’s room was typical of a teenager with lots of posters. We decluttered, changed the bedding, added art over the bed and added a bench to draw your eye to the beautiful windows and the transformation was complete. Both rooms took less than 30 minutes to stage, but the transformation speaks for itself…

Kristine - The actual transformation may have taken only 30 minutes per room, but I know that you put in a lot of thought to create such a fabulous outcome.  Loving the use of the benches in each room, and you had me at the Paris cushions!

Kristine, you work wonders!

As I was taking photos of a house yesterday, you were like a little voice in the back of my head saying,  "Move that chair, move that chair....."  The owner wasn't around, so I didn't take the liberty.  But, who know's I may get the before and after opportunity.

Have a great day.

Incredible difference.  I've heard of sellers having their homes staged for sale and were so taken with the results they fell in love with their home all over again and took it off the market!  Your vision is a gift!
