I don't want to work... I want to bang on the drum all day.

It's Saturday.

I had a ten o'clock appointment with a new client this morning.  It was a nice meeting, and went well.  Now I'm going to go meet my mother, and my sister for lunch at our usual hangout... and take the rest of the day off.

I have no showings, no listings to check on, no brochures to create.  No offers to negotiate (that's a damn shame), no fires to put out, no lockboxes to put on/take off, no faxes to send, no emails to answer, no jammed lockboxes to unjam...

That's right, folks... I ain't got nothin' to do for the rest of the day.  How many times a year does THAT come around?

Woo hoo!  See ya 'round the office!

Alan, enjoy it. I had a light load, but I still had an appointment, took a couple of calls, put out a new sign, took green photos of my listings that went on the market in the winter, working on a CMA to send in with an offer on a short sale and working on counbters for 2 contracts. A somewhat light day

Sharon - I hope your client is timely... nothing worse than waiting around twiddling your thumbs, when you could be banging on the drum all day.

Jennifer - Manhattan has it's own pulse.

Betty - if I were a "little behind", I wouldn't have to diet as much.  (rimshot)

Kathy - I fully did... and thanx.

Brian - believe it or not, he did come up oncet or twicet.

Tammy - duty time (or floor time as we call it here) is a great time to get paperwork done.

Jan - I shoulda gone and seen the Hunger Games.

Carolyn - I know... I love that song.

Donna - ain't it beyooteful?

Gene - who isn't?  A slow day always makes those in the real-estate-industries a bit nervous... but one I can handle... put a few of them in a row, and I start to get nervous.

Ed - it's not like I had nothing... I did have a client meeting at 10:00... but the rest of the day off... woo hoo!

Barbara - don't feel badly for me... one day I can deal with.
