NorthPark Center Policy Changes

NorthPark Center management has put new policies in place to help maintain its family friendly environment.

On May 10, 2012, NorthPark Center put in place a 6:00 pm curfew on those 17 years and younger.  AMC movie-goers, with a valid movie theater ticket, are an exception to this policy.  Those under 17 may go to and from the AMC Theatres until 11:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and 12:01 am Friday and Saturday.  Movie-goers must walk directly to and from the theatre and the parking lot.  Mall security will check IDs to enforce the new policy.

Other new policies:

  • Those in the mall may not wear anything that covers their face or wear clothing that exposes their undergarments.
  • Offensive language will not be tolerated at NorthPark Center.

Local schools and news outlets have been asked to spread the word about these new policies.

The NorthPark Center Code of Conduct has a complete list of the new policies.

Sharon, although when I first heard of these new NorthPark Center rules I did not like it, I do believe it was necessary to stop loitering and trouble that particular mall has had, so on balance it is a good policy. It is private property after all and for the benefit of all and you can't have disruptions leading to crime at the mall. We ALL want a safe place to shop.

I agree with you Larry.  Many people have not heard about the new rules.  we need to spread the word.
