SHRED-A-THON - Denver CO

Shredding documents at home can be a daunting task...this type of community event makes it a lot easier. I'm sure folk will take advantage of Denver's Shred a thon.

A shred a thon sounds like a good community event to me, we all have documents that need to be properly destroyed.

Joan: This is a good way to recycle and keep paperwork/documents from getting in the wrong hands.

Great localism post. It is really too bad that our society has evolved to the point where identity theft is such a large problem.

Joan - we have them here (usually to benefit the SPCA)  and people are lined up to do it. What a great idea to have it all over the Denver area on the same day.

This a great service to provide to cut down on identity theft! Great message Joan.

Joan, this shred-a-thon is a wonderful fundraiser that also helps prevent identity theft! We have a cross-cut shredder at home, but if someone has 3 legal-size file boxes to shred, it may be faster to bring them in to an event like this. :)

Joan, This is a great idea that is sponsored in the Denver area. Don't think we have anything like that here. And it's a fundraiser too...terrific way to support a community!

Always a good thing to attend ...sure they will raise lots of money on this one...ours was too far away so i still do it by hand!  lol
