Open House Success

This past weekend, Banner Haven hosted their first annual Open House and the turnout was great.  Several local Realtors came, along with other B&B innkeepers, businees owners and other people from the community.

On-Sit Cigars gave a live cigar rolling demonstration and there are still free cigars avilable.  If you're a cigar lover, drop by and try one - on the house.

Banner Elk Winery supplied several bottles of Banner Elk Red and everyone loved the result of the local grapes.

Georgia McLean provided free massages and Dunn's Deli brought great sandwitches.

All-in-all it was a great success.  Banner Haven had a chance to showcase their new kitchen, renovated property, bedrooms and cabin.  They seem right on track for a June 1 kickoff of the summer season.

If you're considering a trip to the North Carolina High Country, stop by Banner Haven or give them a call, today.  You can also visit the new website at: www.Banner-Elk-Bed-and-Breakfast.com

Seems like a great place. What I find different than here in the Napa Valley is the peak time their being winter. Something I am not used any more for I left the East Coast 30 years  ago. cheers cvc

Winters are great.  This past one was very mild, with less than 40" of snow, compared to more than 130" last year.
