First-time buyers, this is your chance. I kept hearing over and over again, “We think prices will drop, so we are waiting to buy a house.” Guess what, prices did drop! Condos and houses have come down 15%, 20%, even 25% in some cases.

Does it sound too good to be true? Take the example of a large condominium complex in Encino. A year ago, the smaller 2-bedroom units were selling for $307,000 to $350,000. There is a 2-bed unit in this building for sale RIGHT NOW for $235,000!

So, if it’s your first time looking for a house, now is a great time! Do you think that prices will continue to come down? How much cheaper can they get if it’s the same price now to own as it is to rent? Lenders continue to make it more difficult to get loans. Don’t wait until you can no longer buy because the loan market is too tight.

I love to help young aspiring home owners like you find the first place to live that you can truly call your own. If you are tired of throwing away your hard-earned money on rent and you want to put those dollars in the best investment you’ll ever make, I can help you.

Good luck Clark. Now is always a good time to buy is the correct answer. They are so many reasons why now is good. First and for most is a tax savings and not throwing away your money to rent for someone else to get rich off of you.
